agreed unless you absolutely cannot live and you accept a life that only leads to death and nothing more.

I agree with the OP to an extent. One of my biggest fears about dying is not doing the things I wanted to do. I still wouldn't want to die even after I do them. I've seen a friend die so I've been closer to death than I ever thought I would be before my own. I'm not so much afraid of dying but dying too soon definitely.

You are only afraid when you purposely dismiss God and his existence.
Yes, you should be very afraid when you die its totally rational

its also crazy that this little thing moving in my chest is sustaining me. if it stops then im gone. mortality is crazy. its so easy to die. death is physical.

Sounds like a stupid ominous quote that a hipster would get tatooed on their genitalia just to have something ironic and ambiguous to say when the person going down on them asked what it meant.

well the idea is that if someone has lived a good life, they wont care if they die

but if someone hasnt really lived a good life, they wont want to die because it means theyll never know happiness

No matter is neither created nor destroyed,so I believe our "souls" life-force or whatever the fuck you want to call it is recycled into a new body, obviously no memories are transferred but that's just my theory since no one really knows.

I think being reincarnated with no memories is the same as being completely dead. What's the point of being something new if you don't know you were ever anything else?

what's the point of being afraid to die? it's not relevant while you're alive, and for what we can say it's not relevant after either.

People act like when we're dead we'll still be thinking and shit. Like we'll be sitting there with our eyes closed for eternity and like fuck this is gonna last forever. When we die that'll be it. I'm fine with it tbh.

not sure which scares me the most
eternal nothingness
eternal suffering
eternal happiness
ever since i was like 7 and realized that if you die and go to heaven youre there for eternity, ive been terrified of the afterlife.

on another note, ive felt recently that if tomorrow i got killed saving some little girl from getting hit by a bus or something, that would totally be ok and i would be satisfied with my life.

I like to think that, as human's, we live on a certain frequency. Then when we die we sort of shift into a higher or lower frequency (IDK what decides which way you go) then you live in that world/dimension/reality. It's not death that scares you, but the idea you have about death.

I made it up so death would seem a little less scary to me.

I had taken the words out of his mouth and filled it with fart.
