I understand how people would take these three pieces that The Weeknd has given and feel the need to compare them, but I'm pretty sure that wasn't the purpose of creating this trilogy. It should be viewed as a whole rather than singular pieces to be put up against one another and this, like the two prior, did not disappoint (Did I just compare them? W/E)

But Jesus ... the transition, not only between track to track, but album to album is fucking flawless.

i think what makes it so interesting is that the song is sung in the context of "The Weeknd"....it's such an appropriate song for him to sing to -- Dirty Diana was practically ASKING for him to cover it.

Not sell out but he might quit after this. I doubt it though. I have a feeling he had all these three albums made before house of balloons even dropped. He might've made a few minor changes here and there.

not that the grammys are accurate (see kanye not getting an aoty nom) but i think cos the albums are free they're ineligible.

i wonder what's next. also when did him and drake meet/start recording together? would take care have been what it is without the weeknd? is he to drake what kanye is to jay-z post dynasty/blueprint? too far cos drake isn't as good as kanye by any measure but still good?

EOS is by far the Weeknds most complete project, this one gets no skips. he has his sound and knows how to use it so that it feels fresh every time. fuck, DD, XO/The Host, same old song, the fall, theyre all sooo good too. initiation still gets it in. i mean every track is official. this albums genre should be labeled "strip club R&B"

responding to zilla, i think its safe to say that take care would not have been as good if drake had never met abel. drake himself said that the weeknd was one of his main inspirations for take care, and it shows. imo drake better watch the weeknd tho cuz once this dude hits the radio, drake is gonna have a hard time keeping up.

I would have happily paid for all 3 of his mixtapes. If he is really working on these one after the other his ability to create such a huge library of great music over such a short period of time is amazing.
