I like the looks of a couple of models, but are they that durable?

The racers are super thin (one layer of stitching) and some others ones just look like you'd get soaked if you stepped out in the rain.

I usually wear mostly leather / suede sneakers. Will Flyknits not last as long and get my feet wet in the rain?

I wore my trainers on a water ride at an amusement park and the big waterfall hit me.

Shoes were completely soaked and they're just fine.

I wouldn't wear them if I knew it was gonna rain but they won't be ruined if you're out without notice

I doubt they'd get ruined that easily from rain, but I wouldn't wear them anyways.  The construction is way too breathable and would prob get your feet wet more easily than canvas sneakers.

if your flyknits get really dirty you can always wrap em in a pillow case, tie it and throw em in the washer... hang dry after. My trainers used to be beat to shit and i did that and they turned out looking pretty clean.

I plan on trying jason mark when i get my hands on some soon.

My friend wears flyknits every day here in Oregon (rains all the time) they get absolutely soaked and a little dirty, but he doesnt take care of them/ avoid mud lol aside from being dirty the things are in great shape. nothing wrong with them.

Your feet will get soaked of course, but since it's so breathable it usually dries up pretty fast when your feet are not in them.
