Addictive Anime
I couldnt agree more that Malaysians Dubbing truly Sucks. It really spoils the anime we love watching.Rather than Dubbing they should just sub it in Eng and BM for those who cant even read Eng.

Can anyone here list their top 5 list of the best recent animes? If I ever try to watch anime now I'll just try to watch the "classic" series I may have missed out on like Neon Genesis Evangelion, GTO, Trigun, etc. But Naruto & One Piece look a lil whack to me and I just assume alot of the new shows are like that so I don't really bother watching them.

edit:^ What site/catalog is that anime list from?

Honestly, I really loved One Piece. And I'm pretty old... It's a little cheesy, but it's definitely enjoyable. I mean, I've never watched a series past a couple dozen episodes, but I've watched 300+ eps of One Piece.

eureka 7 is honestly one of my all time favourite animes. watched the subbed versions, the dubbed ones are horrible. and trust, it isnt aimed for kids.

Soul Eater. I basically dismissed this because it looked goofy and wasn't really digging what I knew of the story, but turns out it's actually pretty good. Starts off a little slow, but action picks up, lots of characters that actually get some form of development, good relationships and interactions between characters thus far, and the main story line, although basic from what I've seen, actually progresses and is entertaining enough to make you want to watch more.

It's on Netflix and it's worth a watch if you want something new. Give it at least a few episodes before you decide to not watch anymore. It's funny, good action and animation, and the dub is passable which was surprising.

I can agree with this. Eureka 7 was rather phenomenal in japanese, the dub just killed it. If anything, a child won't understand or be entertained by a vast majority of the story.

The fuck. The dub was extremely far from bad. The series and movie are both great, dub or sub.

Soul Eater was great too, I dont typically watch animes like that, but it had me caught for a minute. Watched the entire series in a matter of a week and a half tops, like 5/6 episodes a day lol.

Oh, and if you like E7, watch Xam'd. Possibly better than E7.
