First gen. matrices had a tranny problem. I believe it was 2nd gear that was the problem on the auto trannies.

Don't know if they fixed it, but knowing Toyota, they probably did.

all it is, is a hatchback carolla. my mom has one. i drove it for a week and would never buy one for myself.

some of those pics you posted look good. why would you buy the car and put all that extra money in to. when you could have just got something better in the first place.

Not a fan...would rather have a Fit over a Matrix. I've heard the inside materials of the Matrix were horrible.
