As the multidisciplinary artwork “Rules of the Game” nears its New York showing, a preview of the soundtrack has been made available. Scored by Pharrell and arranged for the Dallas Symphony Orchestra by conductor David Campbell, “Rules of the Game” is a culmination of Snarkitecture’s Daniel Arsham and choreographer Jonah Bokaer’s decade-long collaboration which combines, art, music and dance. The performance piece made its debut at the SOLUNA music and arts festival in Texas in May and will kick off a New York preview at the Guggenheim Museum for its “Works & Process” series, before heading to BAM. Inspired by Luigi Pirandello’s play, the work will include costumes by Richard Chai and STAMPD. Get a preview of the soundtrack here and take a look at the trailer below.
