Woody Allen Demands a James Dean Haircut in This 'Crisis in Six Scenes' Sneak Peek
A first look at this upcoming Amazon series, which also stars Miley Cyrus.
Legendary director, Woody Allen has a treat for fans of his work this coming fall with the Amazon exclusive series, Crisis in Six Scenes. In true Woody Allen fashion, he wrote, directed and starred in the new show, which is set during the turbulent times of the 1960s — specifically, in the clip above, scenes from war protests are shown to hint at what viewers can expect. While there’s really no in-depth synopsis for the show (IMDb currently has ‘plot unknown’ on the series’ landing page), we can somewhat conjecture that Mr. Allen will be injecting his own brand of quirky comedy into the project as evidenced by the banter exchanged between Allen’s character and his barber in this sneak peek. Furthermore, the cast includes pop star Miley Cyrus, as well as comedy vets like Michael Rapaport and Lewis Black.
Crisis in Six Scenes is set to premiere on Amazon Prime (members only) on September 30.
