The Swoosh Officially Unveils Its Kim Jones x NikeLab "Packable Sport Style" Collection

After teasing the upcoming collaboration between Kim Jones and NikeLab with some closeup shots, the Swoosh has finally revealed what to expect from the mind of Louis Vuitton’s style director. The collaboration consists of a lightweight packable windrunner jacket which is engineered with minimal seams along with a water-resistant woven fabric, and will be available for both men and women.
The main attraction however is the footwear. Using the Air Zoom LWP silhouette, Kim Jones placed his own spin on the Swoosh’s first running shoe to feature Nike Zoom Air Technology. When asked about the model’s original Zoom 95 upper and Air Max 1 foundation, Jones responded that “I like the fact that it has come from an old shoe but has become a completely new shoe. It took quite a few tries to get it right. At first it was too chunky and then it was too skinny. I was thinking about a shoe that I would really like to wear and be proud of. To have a Nike sneaker is an amazing thing. It’s a real honor.”
Inspired by his world travels to locations such as the Greek Isles, Japan, Shima, New York City, and a list of many more, the Kim Jones x NikeLab “Packable Sport Style Collection” will be available on July 23 online via NikeLab and in-store at select NikeLab locations.
