President Obama Throwing Big Music Festival at The White House Before He Leaves Office

With President Barack Obama leaving office this coming November, it appears the commander in chief is looking to go out with a bang with very own music festival. As one of his final acts as President, Obama will be organizing a music festival set to take place at the White House. The event will “South by South Lawn” and will be a partnership with SXSW. The festival is said to include short student films, live performances and feature panel discussions. No official word on who will be on the line up but if President Obama’s “Summer Sixteen” playlist is any indicator, fans will certainly be in for a treat.
