George Lucas and Cary Fukunaga should definitely do something together.
While the intro to both Star Wars and True Detective have their defining moments, here we’re treated to a mash-up that’s sure to entice lovers of both the epic movie franchise and the highly popular drama series. Using the original theme song “Far From Any Road” by The Handsome Family, the creator overlayed, shot-by-shot, imagery from all Star Wars movies and credits of all its key players to the style of the mythical first season introduction. Albeit not as successful as the first season, could a second season mash-up be coming soon?
