The critiques continue to roll in as we now come to a full week since Kanye West debuted his first fashion line with adidas. Speaking with New York’s Paige Six, Fern Mallis, hailed as the creator of New York Fashion Week, and ex-executive director of the CFDA has been the latest public figure to share her opinions on Mr. West’s latest fashion endeavor. She admits that she is in fact “not a fan of his music,” before proceeding to bluntly state she is “kind of over Kanye.” In regards to what many write off as an arrogant persona, Mallis affirms that Kanye’s “attitude and agenda” does not fall in line with her own style of conduct. In light of Mallis’ remarks, Kanye’s post-show interview with Style.com can be read as a rebuttal of sorts. Feel free to air out your thoughts in the comments section below and head over to HYPETRAK for additional news from the music scene.
