Highs and Lows x ASICS GEL-Lyte III "Silver Screen"
Highs and Lows pays homage to Mount Lawley’s Astor Theatre.

ASICS continues to celebrate the 25th anniversary of its iconic GEL-Lyte III, this time linking up with Australia’s Highs and Lows for a custom take on the silhouette. Dubbed the “Silver Screen,” the collaborative design pays homage to Mount Lawley’s Astor Theatre — an art deco landmark that dates back to 1919. Taking cues from the Astor’s interior and exterior alike, the GEL-Lyte III employs pale shades of aqua across soft suede, luxurious nubuck and premium leather. Inside, silk-screened insoles appear alongside leather lining while an embossed Mayan motif and cracked paint-like detailing decorate the heel and overlaying leather form stripes, respectively. Finally, contrasting maroon medial stripes, reflective 3M detailing and metal lace jewels cap off the look.
Highs and Lows’ “Silver Screen” take on the GEL-Lyte III will soon be available in-store and online for $220 AUD (approximately $158 USD) before making its way to additional ASICS Tiger stockists worldwide.
