As Black History Month approaches, Nike has chosen to honor select athlete’s signature lines with special edition sneakers. In celebration of the occasion, Nike has decided to release a black and white version of the Kobe 9 Elite, which features a Flyknit upper decorated with a mishmash of high contrast black and white pixel patterns, atop a fresh white sole unit. A portion of the proceeds from this collection will go towards the Ever Higher Fund, which help underserved youth reach their potential through sport. The Kobe 9 Elite is scheduled for release on January 19 and will retail for $250 USD.
