A Closer Look at the Air Jordan 1 Retro Hi "Black History Month"

With Black History Month closely impending, here we highlight one of the drops from Nike’s special tribute to the cultural observance. Amongst other silhouettes revealed last week is the Air Jordan 1 Retro Hi, adorned with a distinctive hatching pattern laid over an otherwise canvas upper. In keeping with the monochrome motif across the silhouettes, these features rest atop a clean white midsole and black outsole. A contrasting inverted interior finishes off the detailing, topped off with the letters “BHM” embedded at the top of the tongue. With a portion of the proceeds going toward the Ever Upward Foundation, pick up this release alongside others at retailers such as Sneaker Politics beginning January 17.
