When it comes to sports, it’s often where our competitive nature emerges, and for those that consistently reign victorious, a legacy is made. Today marks the release of our latest issue of the HYPEBEAST Magazine — Issue 7: The Legacy Issue. Throughout the pages, it examines those that have made major imprints within sports history, as well as the intersection of sports within fashion, music, art and culture. The issue is spearheaded by arguably the most prominent living legend in sports of all time — Michael Jordan. We’re taken on a journey of MJ’s importance and his role served in effectively creating the culture many of us find immersed in today. The issue also looks at the developments for the impending 2014 World Cup in Brazil, speaking with the two biggest brands involved — adidas and Nike — as we learn what each have planned for The Beautiful Games. Additionally, we’ve featured other notable individuals that have taken inspiration from their love of sports to help shape their current ethos. This includes fashion designers Astrid Andersen and Clothsurgeon’s Rav Matharu, as well as BYREDO‘s Ben Gorham and artist Hiro Kurata.
