Umbro Marks Hypebeast's 20th Anniversary With Limited-Edition Tracksuit

As Hypebeast continues to celebrate its 20th anniversary, we’ve partnered with Umbro to create a signature Spellout tracksuit.

For more than a century, British label Umbro has remained an integral fixture of the global football scene. While keeping its roots firmly planted in the culture of football, the brand has been embraced by countless subcultures, from skateboarders and techno clubbers.

In much of the same way that Umbro started from one realm and crossed over into various movements, Hypebeast, too, has grown far beyond streetwear in its two-decade journey. Starting as a humble web blog in 2005, the digital platform now encompasses everything from fashion, music, art, design, auto, and more.

First unveiled at our 20th anniversary exhibition in New York City, Hypebeast maintains the classic Umbro silhouette while lending its visual stamp through special appliques. Firstly, Umbro’s double diamond logo sits across from a Hypebeast FC crest, nodding to the brand’s football origins.

The limited-edition set takes it up a notch with a tonal oversized Hypebeast logo running through the sleeve and continuing through the pant legs. Printed with a reflective finish, the logo illuminates when hit by light — shining in the dark when transitioning from day to night.
