Without departing from bursts of color and energetic graphics, Christopher Shannon took the runway at this year’s London Collections: Men with his 2015 spring/summer collection. As a retort to how young designers these days only look to the computer screen to process their ideas, Shannon hand pieced together collages on the collection’s oversize silhouettes, referencing scrapbooks, newspaper cut outs, and stickers. Iterating timeless sportswear staples — think sweatsuits, trackpants, polo shirts and anoraks — with a vibrant sensibility, the collection straddled the line between fun and rebellious. Check out the preview here and look for the forthcoming range to hit Christopher Shannon stockists next year.
