Eminem‘s childhood home in Northeast Detroit, in which he spent his teenage years, is up for sale again. The house which was pictured on the cover of his third album, The Marshall Mathers LP, is up for auction with valuation ranging between $33,000 to $44,000 USD. The boarded-up property is located in a derelict neighborhood filled with abandoned homes — a recent problem reflected by the drastic decrease in global industry of car sales, resulting as the largest ever U.S. city to file for bankruptcy. In 2007, Eminem’s residence was sold for $24,650 USD with its last owner trying to capitalize on the house’s fame by pitching it for $500,000 USD via eBay. With no bids placed, the house is currently being sold by the Michigan Land Bank. Following from his recent single “Berserk,” Eminem will deliver a full-length album, The Marshall Mathers LP 2, set to hit shelves November 5.
