Maison Martin Margiela 2014 Spring/Summer Collection

The art of remixing is superficially perceived to be simple and unoriginal. Under the efforts of Maison Martin Margiela, its consistent success would prove otherwise as it continues to contribute to the present through remodeling elements of past. For their most recently presented Spring/Summer 2014 collection, MMM elected to be deliberate in its efforts to reappropriate such as reversing jackets to present the pockets outwards or creating the skirt 2.0 by utilizing the bottom half of jackets as a sort of waist accessory. The overall premise did provide some easy to incorporate pieces that has once again proved to be a strong point for the house.
