Fresh off an almost $80 million USD move to AS Monaco, Radamel Falcao aligns with 2014 FIFA World Cup timekeeper and luxury watchmaker Hublot and his boot sponsor PUMA on an upcoming collaboration. Despite the athletic basis of the collaboration, Hublot has been a mainstay in the eyes of sporting fans through various high-profile collaborations with professional teams across the world. In addition to an exclusive evoSPEED 1.2 FG, 100 watches have been created featuring 60 titanium and 40 King Gold versions, priced at $17,000 USD and $40,000 USD respectively. Each boot is meant to be signed by Falcao and come with the watches together in a unique casing. The watch itself features Falcao’s signature at the usual 6 o’clock position. The watch was released on June 13, 2013 in Bogota, Colombia with a portion of the revenue of each pack sold going towards improving the living conditions in the Grand Lagoon of Santa Maria – Falcao’s Carribbean birth town.
