adidas Introduces "Crazyquick" Footwear for John Wall

When John Wall returned to the Washington Wizards in January, rumors had already begun circulating that his shoe sponsor Reebok was looking to cease the development of its performance basketball unit. In the time since, John Wall has switched to the other side of the umbrella, opting to finish out the remaining portion of his contract with parent company adidas. With this news, adidas has revealed Wall as the spokesperson for its “Crazyquick” basketball model having showcased the first model this past week. The Crazyquick outsole features a gradual flex orientation at both the toe and heel zones with forward and backward traction to ensure a quicker first-step. While the forefoot and midfoot zones allow for independent suspension, increased flexibility and lateral traction are for more aggressive side-to-side movements. Expect John Wall’s Crazyquick to drop on May 1 in multiple colorways with a price tag of $140 USD.
