The Nike SB “Send Help” release in 2006 was a relatively subtle nod to skate culture, reminding wearers and skaters alike of the art behind the action. Todd Bratrud‘s wild, eccentric and bright illustrations have been instrumental to skateboarding over the course of his lengthy career, with the artist presently owning and creatively directing his own brand. Here we find Bratrud teaming up once again with Nike SB to release the “Send Help 2” Dunk High. Taking to his favorite shoe, Bratrud outfitted the silhouette with black suede around the forefoot and sides, while the Swoosh is decidedly white. Meanwhile, the heel counter gets executed with a textured purple panel around the back. Alongside this release, a matching hat, deck and T-shirt are set to release. Look for these at Minneapolis’s finest – Familia Skateshop – on October 26.
