UNDERCOVER, creative director Jun Takahashi and Nike‘s GYAKUSOU range present a behind-the-scenes look at the latest running footwear and technical apparel designs from their ongoing collaboration for Fall/Winter 2012. Set in the dense forest of Togakushi, this video highlights the new pieces as Takahashi reflects on the meaning of “GYAKUSOU,” the ascetic training experience that dominates the former ninja grounds and the impact of natural environment and Japanese heritage on the designs of the collection. The UNDERCOVER x Nike GYAKUSOU Fall/Winter 2012 collection is set to make its debut this October at select stockists across the globe.
