Levi’s’ Parisian flagship store has opened its doors on the Champs-Élysées with some pomp and a party. Following an evening of art, music, and celebration with French and American cultural pioneers including house veteran Pedro Winter (Busy P) and electro man James Murphy (LCD Soundsystem/DFA Records), Mr. Andre and Shepard Fairey, the iconic American denim brand launches its new retail space on the prestigious French shopping avenue. The three-storey store uses recycled material in a comprehensive eco-friendly conceptual design extending even to electrical lighting and ventilation. Presenting a ‘destination’ shopping space, the store features an impressive in-house denim tailor — the fourth of its kind in the world — offering bespoke denim, celebrated product ranges such as the Curve ID collection, Made & Crafted, vintage reissues and rare one-off Levi’s pieces.
