Nike Air Carnivore Retro

A long time coming for a majority of the old school Nike heads, the Air Carnivore makes its return in 2010. Worked up in its original colorway, the kicks definitely take on a throwback feel with sharp color combinations and a nutty hi top design. A couple of pairs are now available through Osneaker, with an official release expected later on in the year.

    Enh, you guys don’t get it… there’s 100 worse ideas for retros then this. Air Bound anyone? I will say it beats all Griffys. Is it a product of it’s time? Sure…

    It is a crazy shoe, but it’s crazy done well. It’s still ahead of it’s time in some ways. I hope to hear the story of where the whole carnivore/reptilian angle came from… Nike trying to cash in on Jurrasic park? A wild clean break since Bo was no more?

    The lava ATCII’s strike me as a something too dated to pull off on the street, but something about these still endures.
