Nike ACG 2009 Holiday "Expedition 3-Layer" Jacket

In an early look into the impending 2009 holiday collection from Nike ACG, we take a look at the Expedition 3-Layer jacket. The piece finds its inspiration in the 1978 summit of the East Ridge of K2 which incidentally was aided by the use of Nike equipment. Following the accomplishment, the ACG line was born as Nike’s technically advanced outdoor sub-brand. The jacket incorporates various elements of performance including a breathable 3-layer waterproof membrane and ergonomic pocket placements. References to ACG’s past can be seen with the old ACG slogan “Boundaries are set by dictators” as well as a special crest tributing the monumental ascent in 1978.
