Kid Cudi Day ‘N’ Nite Unreleased Video

by Alex Milner, September 10, 2009

It seems like Kid Cudi is everywhere these days, as his debut album, “Man On The Moon: The End Of The Day”, drops in less than a week. Here’s a look at the unreleased video for his multi-award winning single, “Day N Nite”. The video was shot by directing duo BBGUN back in April 2008 on a mere $250 budget. Considering the resources at the time, the clip holds up surprisingly well against the later two music videos for this song, proving that Scott Mescudi had the right vision long before the world knew his name.

I like how the two unofficial videos are better than the official one…

Wow this 1 was way more in tune w/ the theme of the song. I really like the editing and that fucking closed eye twitch. 4 days left, GO GET IT!!!!

much better than the awful version that was released. no wonder cudi was hating on the fact it was when he had this up his sleeve.

He should have used this version. Pretty much everything BBGUN makes is gold.

It’s cool for glitzy top 40 booshy clubs. I miss the old nostalgia of conscious lyrics like Diamond D, Rakim Tribe, EPMD, Brand Nubian. Legends like those guys. Glad there are still some young kids today that are into the nostalgia and dropping that type of music.
