For MIHARAYASUHIRO’s fall 2009 collection, “Left and Right”, the Japanese designer sought to convey a sense of journey and transformation with inspirations linked to the Silk Road that joined the Western and Eastern worlds. The “Left and Right” collection features traditional Western forms of footwear interjected with a sense of Eastern aesthetics. Three different styles include oxfords and boots with adornments ranging from embroideries to studs and fur additions.
