London’s Bamford & Sons, who have been customizing iconic watches since 2004, continue their work with a new design inspired by Colette. Using the French boutique’s powerful sea-blue as background, Bamford & Sons have created a fresh look for a familiar Rolex model. Further details include the Colette logo and a black lightning bolt-shaped second hand. Available from September 9th at colette.

    I like some of the work Bamford has done on other Rolex models but the Millgauss doesn’t need any changes–there’s already some cool color combos available and this just devalues the original watch. FAIL

    nice attempt, its like this…rolex was something like a rolls royce, now its being pimped,
    its good and bad…the lightning bolt is a tad bit cheesy…soon rolex will be available at kmart! lol, is the recession forcing companies to do the unthinkable? btw collette got banging shit!

    Though you are correct in pointing out that the colour of the second hand has been altered, it should be pointed out that the hand itself has, on a modern Milgauss, always been shaped like a ‘lightning bolt’.
