apc supreme collection 1 A.P.C. x Supreme Collection

In a collaboration mentioned some time ago, the A.P.C. x Supreme collection will hit stores early next month. The capsule consists of two different pieces, a pair of denim and a graphic t-shirt. The denim takes cues from A.P.C.’s iconic New Standard with additional back-pocket emroidery and a pin. The t-shirt comes in two variations, a red one for Supreme stores and a black one for A.P.C. stores. The collection goes on sale in the US both online and in-store on October 1st, 2009 while Japan will see the release two days later on October 3rd.

In 1987, Tunis native Jean Touitou created the French fashion label A.P.C. (Atelier de Production et de Creation). Over the years A.P.C. has distinguished itself as a prestigious clothier of fine apparel based on classic items and silhouettes. A.P.C. is headquartered in Paris with primary stores sprinkled across various parts of the world including France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Tokyo and the US.

For fall 2009 A.P.C. and Supreme will present a two piece capsule of a denim jean and graphic t-shirt. The jean, a specially designed version of A.P.C.’s classic New Standard style, will feature a back pocket embroidery and a removable pin. The tee will come in two colors; red (available exclusively at Supreme stores) and black (available exclusively at A.P.C. Stores).

Available in-store and online on October 1st. Available in Japan on October 3rd.

I don’t have much to say, but i feel like I have to make a comment about a collab from my two favorite brands. The collection doesn’t look all that interesting, but when Kobe and Lebron are playing each other your eyes are glued to the screen, even if it is a horrible game.

    super ill

  13. Posted by: KidDynamite on September 26, 2009 at 12:41 am

I’ll cop because I never thought this collabo would see the light of day. Definitely subtle things, nothing too big which is what people should expect because A.P.C. is a simplistic brand. Someone said probably too simple, which I can go with. The embroidery could have been placed a little better, like right above the pocket on the stiching or even the back pocket (you guys are serious when it comes with the F*** em that your homophobic about it, jesus christ kids). Worth the extra $45? Probably not, but my first pair of A.P.C’s would be cool to have a brand that I have liked from before. The tees are alright, probably the black one

Also.. did anyone think it was a vagina for the first split second they saw it? lol

  29. Posted by: PHIL on September 25, 2009 at 11:06 am

Can someone please explain Supremes fixation with legs? But anyway fresh tee, jeans look like every other pair of Supreme released jeans though.

  30. Posted by: ALLEN'S2CENTS on September 25, 2009 at 11:06 am

I’m just going to ask once.. I just need a second opinion..

    Are those man legs?

Especially in the red screen print around the top right of the image.. is that shadow .. or hair?

The black one looks a little better.. I just don’t want to be walking around with this shirt and someone is thinking the same thing I am right now..

You don’t know with the French, ever since the Da Da movement, I don’t trust them, especially with Half an Image.. you never know what’s up top.

  42. Posted by: nicolasfromparissoexcusemyenglish on September 25, 2009 at 6:40 am

The removable pin already exist on every APC jeans, so, months collaboration work for writing “fuck em!” on the back pocket is what I call lazyness, lack of imagination, lack of originality,…the shape doesn’t looks different as APC’s new standard one also.
and what about the t-shirt…. I can do 20 like this a day.
The word “collaboration” is making me smile more and more often when I see a man (the boss) wearing like a teenager but saying seriously in front of the camera that they worked a lot to change the colors or doing brainstorming with 15 people for which “premium” materials they will use for of a pair of New Balance or Nike shoes is hilarous, and the most funny is that the most of the time they’re not good…

  43. Posted by: TT Twister on September 25, 2009 at 6:35 am

Guess I wouldn’t like to have ‘Fuck em’ embroidered somewhere on my ass cheeks…
