Got a pair recently these are extremely luxurious with fantastic finishing. You have got to own Visvims in order to experience the feel. Japanese are famous for reverse engineering. That’s how they built their nation into a power house after the world war! By the way Vsvm uses exquisite materials from established and reputable manufacturers. Get your facts right before shooting off your uneducated mouths and putting down the brands. Makes you folks like ignorant buffons!!!

It doesnt make any sense to say that visvim “bit” vans because the vans “era” shoe design is not totally original “in and of itself”. Keds actually did it before vans and I dont know who did it before them. This is just a classic shoe design that has been referenced over and over again. Visvim just happened to do a very good job this time. Oh, and by the way, this might be the best shoe I have ever seen in my life.

Golightly said “…Also, if you think Vans were the first to make a shoe that looked like this, you should do some research…”

Thank you sir. These look to be superior in every sense of the word, but I really hate that “cursive lesson” logo from vsvm (at the heel). Something as understated deserves a less playful, if adolescent, logo. Wish we had a sole shot though —cheers//dom

Eras, not Authies. These will last 10 times longer than Vans. Also, if you think Vans were the first to make a shoe that looked like this, you should do some research. Brown ones are amazing, and I’m going to be quite tempted to grab ‘em.

IF I SKETCHED THESE OUT AND SHOWED IT TO ANYONE ON HYPEBEAST AND SAID “I AM A ASPIRING FOOTWEAR DESIGNER” WOULDN’T THE FIRST THING OUT OF EVERYONE’S MOUTH BE….”DUDE THOSE KINDA LOOK LIKE VAN ERAS”

I NEVER UNDERSTOOD HOW VISVIM AND OTHER JAPANESE BRANDS GET AWAY WITH PRACTICALLY INFRINGING ON VANS. I ACTUALLY DO UNDERSTAND BUT I DON’T SEE ANY SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENTIATING POINTS OF ARTICULATION.
