Encompassing 50 painted walls throughout a designated section of Philadelphia, famed artist Steve Powers, also known as ESPO, teams up with the city for a special project, entitled Love Letter. The street mural showcase will not only feature ESPO’s work but that of 40 local and international talents, each painting their own wall, beginning this month and hopefully being completed by Labor Day. “Love Letter” will also be featured as a documentary-style film with scripted elements, a sign school and shop that will provide training for area youth and free signage for businesses on the Market Street corridor, as well as two books documenting the entire process. Stay tuned for further looks into the project once its completed.
