The collar on the tee looks strange. Looks like a womens’ shirt. I agree, the pieces are way too generic. This is probably just him putting his toes in the water. Which is EXACTLY what you shouldn’t do for a debut collection (IMO).

so, what? this is the backbone to the collection? where’s the collection? i’m not actually sure that liam would wear this like he said he’d only design something he’d wear? and when i say design i mean point and nod at what his whack design team came up with!
he’s copied everything about quadrophenia in terms of the photoshoot – did he not make notes on the clothes when he was ripping off the stills for the photoshoot! a la beachy head on sting’s bike and sitting in the cafe “cuppa tea please maid” ‘”oh you animal” !!!!
and where’s the jkt he’s wearing in the above photo?
if this isn’t just a taster to the collection wtih the rest to follow then he really needs to pull it out the bag next season or he’s failed.

love brit pop…old, not so old and current. this brand IS boring. maybe a lot less focus on silly logo. more on traditional cuts might be a better/britter idea. the concept seems cool though. maybe second season they will tighten it up. i hope. maybe some long drab military jackets (i.e. Quadrophenia).
