The Air Jordan 1 “Do the Right Thing” pack based on the seminal Air Jordan has hit select retailers. The pack which comes in two colorways features similar colors with white uppers and hits of green/red. Little references to the iconic Spike Lee “Do The Right Thing” movie are seen on select parts of the shoe such as the inner lining. Overall an nice contemporary update to an original Air Jordan 1 colorway. Available at Millennium Shoes.

where’s the lining? in my mind that’s what really made the shoe say do the right thing. is the red and green just meant to represent mookie’s pizza delivery shirt?

OK somebody dropped the ball here, if they did their homework and watched the movie “Do The Right Thing” which came out in the summer of 1989 they would have known that the character in the movie “Buggin Out” wore the # 4 Jordan’s not the 1’s which dropped in like 1986. Now Spike Lee’s character Mars Blackmon wore the #1’s in “She’s Gotta Have It”……Nike fucked up!!

Wow, I like the prototypes much better. The ones with the off white toe and the colorful sock liner. The new design is okay at best.
