This nigga Jay is really starting to irk the shit out of me!!!!! I know REAL heads remember in ‘06 how Nas and Primo was suppose to drop a whole album together and niggas was watering at the mouth waiting on this project. But, all of a sudden, Nas signs with Jay at the time he was President of Def Jam and the shit got swept under the rug. Now, the nigga finna drop a project featuring Primo producing the whole album? THIS NIGGA JAY IS A FUCKING BITER!!! Dont ever compare this nigga to MJ!!!!!!!! He is one of the best business men is hip hop, but the nigga whole style was molded off of Biggie!!!!! I use to think this niggah was dope but this took the cake!

This is aiight… Its definitely better than the original track on American Gangster… Wasn’t the biggest fan of that album, especially the songs on the opening end of the album, but it got better near the end. This is a nice reinterpretation of the song but I was hoping for something more tailor made for the instrumental as opposed to a remix…

Why? LOL dude you’re a mogul. Stop rolling around in the dirt with these garbage ass rappers. Jeezus why can’t niggas stop fuckin up their legacies? This is like Jordan coming back playing for the Bobcats.

    It’s a mash-up.

Beat from Cloud 9 by Reks and the verse is from Pray by Jay z.

what a shitty blend. fam can’t even sync up my verse from “Pray” properly. WACK.

  12. Posted by: Magdi on May 26, 2009 at 2:41 pm

i mean BEATS that collected dust…. and that jay track is called PRAY from American Gangster….

  13. Posted by: ILLGreg on May 26, 2009 at 2:21 pm

This ain’t a new track. That Jigga verse is from “Pray” off of American Gangster. And like dude said, that is an old Preemo unreleased beat. So technically this is a mash-up.

  14. Posted by: aman on May 26, 2009 at 2:14 pm

This is a blend. The Jay-Z verse is from Pray off American Gangster and the beat is from an old DJ Premier mixtape.

I was in the middle of listening to old sean price. This shit is wack ass bullshit! I don’t know I guess my standards are too low…I don’t know?

  16. Posted by: erik on May 26, 2009 at 1:23 pm

the lyrics are from a song off the American Gangster album called Pray.

  17. Posted by: Michael on May 26, 2009 at 1:22 pm

Yup, and the acapella is taken from the American Gangster album, “Pray”.

  18. Posted by: Gun Clapper on May 26, 2009 at 1:08 pm

This could be a spoof. The Hova track is “Pray” off of his American Gangster Album, Its almost like someone took two old tracks and merged them.

This a dope project by hi-def! Looking forward to the release

  21. Posted by: ponzischeme7 on May 26, 2009 at 12:46 pm

this also isn’t a new jigga verse

  22. Posted by: Cost on May 26, 2009 at 12:43 pm

Those verses are from “Pray” off the American Gangster album…Old Jay Verses on old Premo beats…Could be cool..

  23. Posted by: TREVERIN on May 26, 2009 at 12:40 pm

isn’t this just the acapella to “Pray” from American Gangster on a Primo beat? lol FAIL

  24. Posted by: snuzi on May 26, 2009 at 12:24 pm

I wonder if he got the song title after watching Star Trek. That’s Spok’s line.

  25. Posted by: Magdi on May 26, 2009 at 12:03 pm

This is a DJ premier production, but its NOT an official track… the beat was taken off DJ Premier – Bests that collected dust (Vol 1)…
