What has been written about Kanye West’s latest album, 808s and Heartbreak can fill a book. It has been praised for it’s raw emotion and criticized for it’s auto tune heavy singing. Whether you love or hate the album, it is certain that it has become a new watermark for popular music. MCs have already started to mimic the album’s format and advertisers have utilized the cinematic compositions for dramatic effect. “Amazing” featuring Young Jeezy is one of the least somber songs on the album but just as emphatic as the other tracks. The song takes the age old Hip Hop braggadocio mold and gives it an epic feel. The visuals to the music provided by veteran music video director Hype Williams captures the enormity of the track by simply pairing it with breath taking shots of landscapes and oceans.
anything but amazing…mediocre at best. hype could have got more creative with that budget. jeezy is a piece of s*it!!!! i wanna slap the taste out his mouf…first he’s down wit mcain now he flip flopped n is all about obama. he’s the epitome of what’s wrong wit rap music…tryin sooo hard to be hood. straight IGNANT!

The producer of this video should be fired. Any millionaire with a camera and access to a helicopter and a boat can make this same shit. Kanye West is deeper than alot of people think. But this video ruins the song….

Graduation was good.
His other albums were OK.
Horrible rapper, horrible singer.
Decent producer, but not great.
I don’t see the big deal about him. His last album was horrible. When he was making Graduation, did he look at T-Pain, who guested on one track, and think, “Fuck, this guy makes a living on this Auto Tune shit? Even I can do this.” Why bother hanging with the lowest common denominator?

Props to dude for letting the people know Kayne has paid major dues….Most guys are afraid to live at that level just to get their ideas out…..Talk about Sacrifice. Where a lot of producers might spend a few hours on a beat….Yay was spending a week on one beat. If your gonna put that much effort in one beat…..Producers are visible now but back in the day the people use to appreciate the work and ignore them….no wonder Yay beats on his chest all the time.

that song kinda sucks…and jeezy is probably the worst rapper ever to touch a microphone. that 808 album was basically a r&b album. Graduation was far more superior. And the more i hear this cat talk about himself the more i dislike him. its like he just talks about himself just to keep his ego-driven career going. he should just shut up…

You need to walk around with a big Ego when you have talent like Kanye. We feed our selfs with our own ego. Thats why Kanye keeps getting better and better. He believes he is the best so what comes out of him is nothing but the best in him + more. I understand his personality because i live my life the same way he does. I am nothing but the best at what i do. No questions ask.

best song on the album, and it was a rather good album compared to graduation
probably his worst video to date. Its just not very good or well thought out. Its not really telling a story or actually making a connection with the content of the song. Just a very weak showing.
