The shoe is banging. All you haters will be lining up as usual to drop the digits. So quit pretending that you are not impressed. there will be colorways that will accomodate all true Jordan Heads.
I don’t understand how the Jordan brand is still relevant in the performance footwear game. A lot of players in the NBA prefer low-cut sneakers (running shoes), gilbert arenas comes to mind. It seems that the design team at jordan has a very clichéd point of view. They always find inspiration in Ferrari, fighter jets and other non-sense. The consumers who are loyal to the brand don’t own sports cars or planes, and don’t care about performance. That’s why I buy the retro jordans because they’re simple and don’t have the chotskies and junk that decorate the modern jordans.

HYPE. This shoe is weak. Lots of technological fluf that has been used in other Jordans before. Double stack zoom bag, come on where do you need that kind of cushioning? Ballers dont jump off of buildings, all that double stack zoom bag does at that level is decrease responsiveness and put you further from feeling the court. Articulated forefoot zoom, so you put a bunch of seams in the bag and that makes it flexible? Seriously. Environmental aspects! So you use some water based glues but use all that plastic, PU foam, and everything else that goes into making a shoe and you are GREEN?? Why dont heads be earth friendly and not buy so many damn shoes!
The shoe lacks that Iconic feel that Jordan is supposed to have that air of sophistication and steez. The Jordan Brand is lost to a crew that doesnt understand the why it is so great. Brand Jordan is Dead but long live the King. 23
Why u all hating? U gotta wait til u hold an AJ in your hand and put it on to make a judgement call first. AJ was and is always about attention to detail and this would include even the small subtle details. I’m not saying I like them I just think it’s too close to call a flop on these. I would however would have liked a little more info on the production of these kicks and the environmental aspects in it’s design. The xxiii did a good job of utilizing these but I can’t see it clearly on these 2009’s . As long as it’s tinker hatfield approved then I’m a believer in the air Jordan brand of the future.
Ugly Jordan needs to stop. Let the classics remain.

but I really feel like His ” airness” just dialed this one in…
after seeing these ’09’s….i’m thanking jb that i’ll be saving alot of money in ‘09. these won’t have the success that the XXIII experienced…..guaranteed. it’s honestly a pretty sad looking shoe. nothing to it. and i’m one that has dropped enough in ‘08 on j’s.
