BBC | Ice Cream present their latest collection as the brand showcases a side beyond their usual graphical styles which has perhaps been the most visible aspect of the brand. Their collection of cut&sew include some nice button-ups and bold jackets amongst the usual spring and summer shorts and crop pants. Look for these to begin hitting retailers in the near future.
Tired of musicians trying to do clothing collections, stick with the music PLEASE and concentrate on putting out historical good music we all can remember and stop the bandwagon wack flashy-ness. (Kanye as well) The wannabe Evisu painted denim (Evisu is the OG of painted denim) has to go especially all the mish-mosh detailing that doesn’t piece together correctly in some of the pieces and to me personally looks like an eyesore. One of the models looks like Vanilla Ice with a Ed Hardy tattoo. Less is more, let the real men apparel designers with correct eye visual formations do their jobs. I see you and we’re watching.

While I’m not impressed, though rather disappointed, with this lookbook, I’m sure we can expect some nice items through out the new season. I don’t particularly care for the style they’ve chosen, BBC hardly fails to deliver to it’s fanbase. It may be a positive change, moving away from the same old logos and what not that we’ve all come to love from just about every season thus far. It seems like a step away from it’s streetwear roots, which I don’t really like.
But we can thank the awful styling of the lookbook and the fruity models to Carri Mundane… Not a good way to promote the new items IMO.

wow…. i’m truly impressed with season eight. blending street style with haute coutoure is quite the feat, and the fact that they’ve gotten this close to that perspective is rather uncanny. i guess that’s what happens when 1) you hang out with the louis vuitton corp for a while and 2) you’re up in donatella’s crib with like ten ho’s.
