As part of Jimm Lasser’s The Dunk on McCain exhibition which opened last night at the Tyson Space, the marquee piece was a specially created Obama Force One. The half-art piece, half sneaker features a unique sole which bears two different designs. The left shoe bears the statement ” A black man runs, the nation is behind him” while the right shoe features a shot of Barack Obama. The opening night included special prints created with the shoe soles for sale.

    my responce to goodlife 9000’s ignorant a** comment. Republicans dont suck. maybe certain individuals of the party do, but not all of them. just like not all democrats suck either, just some like Bill Clinton. McCain isnt my favorite, but between Obama and McCain…Its simple, do real research and dont just listen to the loud mouths of society that get all their info from the media…The President who is gonna win, is the President who is supposed to win!!!!

    the idea is cute, but i don’t like the idea of walking all over obama’s face. i mean, he may be popular, but he’s not God. i’m voting for him because i don’t think mc cain seems to have a good grip on what’s going on around him, and i don’t trust palin.

    it aint even on the actual “sole”…looks like all they did was laser engrave a design on a peice of material and then add the material to the bottom of some crusty air force ones….had it been done on the actual “sole” of the shoe, then maybe were talking…

    dont see what the big deal is….
