As an leading participant of Nike’s 1World program, it comes as no surprise KAWS work with Nike goes beyond his Air Force 1 to also include this little known Air Max 90 sample. Information regarding its release is sparse but features some nice detailing such as the “x” style stitching on the toebox with the use of neon stitches to reference KAWS’ iconic imagery which can also be seen on the lacelocks. No word yet on availability.

    From what i learned is that samples can change.
    But that almost never happens, I think it only happened with Nike SB Picnic table to Nike SB Lobster.

    i unsderstand the hard work completely I myself am an artist this world is bent on telling you you cant make money of of doing the one thing you love and it sucks. All I’m saying is i feel like he can change it up a little do something he hasn’t done yet. i feel like he’s doing the same shit just in different colors or over different pictures.

    I’ve said it a thousand times, and i know i must just be a poser and a hater, but kaws is the least interesting popular artist or designer i could ever think of. whether you like his stuff or not is a matter of opinion, and i don’t hate him but i would never dick-ride his repetitive style. and if you think i’m just some stupid kid, kaws was only born 6 years before me and i have no idea where people get off acting like he invented graffiti or the concept of subverting advertisements and popular culture. that pre-dates kaws by a long time, you know, since the 1950’s at least. grow up and stop claiming anyone who doesn’t like the same things as you is a “hater.” kaws is just some dude who got famous for putting “x’s” (x’s have been played out forever) all over images he copies, or shoes, or whatever. of course he is popular, people get to feel like they are down with something revolutionary when it really is just the same images they are comfortable with because they have been bombarded with them forever.

    The grammar on this site as a whole is atrocious! along with those boring ass shoes….I’m all for doing it simple but i feel like those were just slapped together.like he met up with someone over coffee who brought the shoes in a suitcase opened it up and he just approved them and went on about his treasure hunting day

    lol dickhead alert! (dcypoe). Kaws is a unique concept but this was probably the most simplest design, i agree with young arafat, it should have been in a black or a more colorful toned fabirc. It is kind of too boring to cop.
