Vans Ostrich Chukka
by Charles Cheng, July 17, 2008
As competition gets fiercer everyday, it is necessary for brands to continually innovate to improve their products whether it is through improved technology, clever ideas, or outrageous materials. Vans definitely took it to another level with these Ostrich Chukka as they are made with real ostrich skin. The shoes come in black or army green with indents that make up a polka dot pattern. Available now at Classic Kicks for $350 a pair.

Most sneakers are made from leather. Hmm where does that come from? Lol,I thought sneaker buyers just wanted the hottest sneakers first for insane prices, but apparently they want to save the world as well!
Keep animals outta the sneaker game, please.
I am SOOO against the use of any real animal skin… but those black ones are SOOOO sweet. Just if they were faux. =’(
and since when did hypebeast become about saving the animals?!
and the “dot’s” are where feathers were
You guys are insane… this is a hot shoe! Army green’s are so dope… and vans destroying the planet? That’s a pretty ignorant statement to make.
VANS. DESTROYING THE PLANET ONE PAIR OF SHOES AT A TIME.
sucks. what else can we kill for no reason?
ya sound like an idiot.
i hope i dont end up sounding like an idiot, but are the dots there for any other reason besides just being a random pattern?
damn those look fuckin stupid
Nike’s been doing Ostrich forever now. Don’t really understand the innovation behind it.
Crazy – this is how you design a shoe!
