Remi Wolf Is Ready To Share Her 'Big Ideas' With the World
An impressive “coming-of-age” sophomore LP.
Remi Wolf is growing up – and like most of us, she has a lot of feelings about navigating her twenties. Realer than ever, Wolf returns ready to share her thoughts on it all, presenting her dynamic “coming-of-age” LP entitled Big Ideas.
“Big Ideas, in essence, is my mid-20s coming-of-age album. It documents all my wild nights, situationships, jet-lagged high highs, low lows and evolving thoughts on my identity and purpose in this world. ALL THE BIG IDEAS!!” she explained in a statement.
“Also it sounds sick af and was very fun to make. Please enjoy my children.”
Wolf gave us a glimpse into what Big Ideas had in store with a lineup of glimmering singles that put her sonic range on display for all to see. She kicked it off with “Cinderella,” the project’s first track, back in March, followed by the “Toro” / “Alone in Miami” two-pack in the springtime, and, earlier this week, “Soup.”
“’Soup’ explores my relationship to commitment and follow through,” explains Wolf of the final single. “If you ever really wanted to be there for someone fully but ended up getting drunk on a rooftop instead, this song is for you.”
