Zacari Kicks Off Longform Debut 'Bliss' with Skrillex-Produced "Faith + Sight"
The album features Doechii, Ty Dolla $ign, Isaiah Rashad and more.
Zacari is ready to make his official introduction. The Top Dawg Entertainment artist announced his debut studio project Bliss, which comes complete with a stacked lineup of heavy-hitting featured artists: Doechii, Ty Dolla $ign, Isaiah Rashad, Ab-Soul, BLXST and James Fauntleroy.
Bliss – slated for a July 12 release – clocks in at 17 tracks and includes the previously released “Reverse,” “Ave Maria,” “Bliss,” “Ocean,” “Lonewolf Still” and new single “Faith + Sight,” which is propelled by production from Skrillex and a feature from BEAM.
“After Skrillex first introduced me to BEAM, we got an Airbnb with Wallis and Lane and spent a few days creating,” Zacari recalled in a statement.
“This was one of the first songs we did together. This song came from conversations BEAM and I were having about God, questioning the idea of ‘walking by faith, not by sight.’ Why not both? When BEAM and I showed Skrillex the song, he just hopped on my laptop and added the drums in my Ableton program… it took him like an hour.”
Elsewhere, the album also sees production contributions from Teddy Walton, Kal Banx and Fauntleroy.
