At the start of the year we asked the question “Will the Air Jordan 4 jump over the Air Jordan 1 in 2024?” After four months, the answer seems to be a resounding yes. Between high-powered collaborations like the forthcoming A Ma Maniére pairs, the introduction of the Air Jordan 4 RM and the return of classic looks like the “Military Blue” colorway, the Air Jordan 4 is set to take the throne in celebration of its 35th anniversary.

Focusing on the aforementioned “Military Blue” pair, which Jordan Brand has renamed to “Industrial Blue” (though it’s worth noting that the shoe box maintains the original “Military Blue” name), we have an in-hand breakdown of the much-anticipated release thanks to the team at Shoe Palace. Crafted in a white leather upper that matches its netting, its signature hue arrives at the Nike Air-equipped heel tab, a portion of the midsole, the wings of its lacing system and at the tongue’s Jumpman logo. The shoe is also accompanied by an orange Nike Air hangtag and Jordan Brand’s classic “Cement Grey” box with a black lid.

Release for the Air Jordan 4 “Industrial Blue” is set to officially take place on May 4 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers such as Shoe Palace at a starting price of $215 USD.
