London-based imprint LUEDER constantly goes against tradition, challenging our evolving homeland through emotional designs grounded in utility. Designer Marie Lueder’s hybrid outlooks reimagine standard sportswear with a futuristic twist, unveiling her latest collection at London Fashion Week.

LUEDER’s Spring/Summer 2024 offering explores apocalyptic London through masculine motifs with an uncertain backbone, examining our unsettling future on Earth. Titled “Journeyman,” it is informed by Kevin Reynolds’ 1995 sci-fi film Waterworld, creating otherworldly uniforms to combat the end of humanity. Men and women are fitted in inventive armor captured against burning cars and buildings.

Patchwork-style denim boasts belted chains and three-dimensional shields, seeing ribbed hoodies with uneven indentations don integrated face masks for increased outdoor protection. Explosive galaxies come alive on graphic tank tops paired with pocketed skirts and zipped headgear.

LUEDER has collaborated with artist Thomas P. Grogan this season, utilizing aluminum and resin to create silver accessories. Designer Rosie Broadhead employs healing properties across restoring knitwear, while 4FSB designs bespoke hats from deadstock fabrics.
