Take an Exclusive Behind-The-Scenes Look at LABRUM's 'Top Boy' Collaboration With Netflix and Hackney Wick FC
Unveiled by Unknown T at LABRUM’s Spring/Summer 2024 runway show at London Fashion Week.
Designer Foday Dumbuya founded his eponymous label — LABRUM — in 2015, representing his West African culture at every opportunity. The designer has shown on the London Fashion Week schedule season after season, staging intricate runways with a message of unity.
Dumbuya presented his Spring/Summer 2024 collection on Saturday evening, storming the decadent halls of Trinity Square’s Four Seasons hotel. The range was a sentimental tribute to the founder’s Sierra Leone roots, celebrating the country’s carved Nomoli figure.
LABRUM debuted an unexpected collaboration with Netflix and Hackney Wick FC, seeing British rapper Unknown T unveil it on the runway. Exclusive behind-the-scenes shots display the garments in-depth, celebrating Top Boy‘s final season.
Unknown T is captured backstage before the show, wearing a bold green football jersey with tonal UK postcodes and tinted zig-zag details. Collaborative logos hit the chest, while heavy-weight tracksuits boast pyramid-shaped and gilded decor. The shots also expose LABRUM’s “NOMOLI ODYSSEY” collection, featuring striking Nomoli masks, pierced shirting, and silk-trimmed garments with cracked attributes.
