Rikuya Hayashi’s label SUGARHILL has once again developed its take on denim. Dubbed the “MODERN DENIM COLLECTION,” the Fall/Winter 2023 offering serves to redefine denim in an expression of everyday apparel and workwear. The concise range creates a contemporary concept that aims to resonate with a diverse outlook of people.

Differing from SUGARHILL’s past denim styles, the “CLASSIC DENIM COLLECTION” features a rugged look developed with light and elegant textiles. Additional detailing comes in the form of materials and specifications that come together for sophisticated quality and reliable practicality.

Offered in baggy and slim sets, the “CLASSIC DENIM COLLECTION” utilizes original left twill denim “JIMI CLOTH” developed in collaboration with Kuroki Co., Ltd. of Ibara City, Okayama Prefecture. The warp is dyed pure indigo, while the weft is dyed light beige for a depth in the intersection of colors.

Priced between ¥28,000 and ¥36,000 JPY (approximately $189 and $244 USD), take a look at the range above and shop the “MODERN DENIM COLLECTION” at select retailers now and on SUGARHILL’s website September 22.
