maharishi has just presented its brand-new collection for Fall/Winter 2023 and it sees the brand blend Eastern influences with Western tailoring, along with references taken from various forms of military uniform.

Much like previous collections the brand has dropped recently — such as the “Battle Royale” capsule — this new release from Hardy Blechman’s imprint utilizes a melange of earth hues across staple silhouettes that have become synonymous with the British brand.

For example, the collection welcomes two new iterations of the imprint’s Hakama pants. The new styles have been reinterpreted in a cotton poplin and stone-washed for a more vintage aesthetic. Additionally, the brand’s classic M65s are hit with extra gussets and articulation, providing more room for those who want to explore tricky terrains.

Meanwhile, new artworks of Fire Phoenix and Peace Cranes are presented as new prints across outerwear and trouser styles, while hand embroidery is used to complement maharishi’s staple Original Snopants. Camp collars are also crafted from Melton Wool, exploring finer and more intricate tailoring from one of Britain’s most historic mills, Abraham Moon & Sons.

Rounding off the collection, maharishi works with lightweight shirt silhouettes which are hit with Hanten-style closures, reminiscent of U.S. Army advisor uniforms from the ’60s.

You can take a closer look at the full collection from maharishi in the gallery above and it will be available to shop via the brand’s official website in the coming weeks.
