Central Saint Martins graduate Gerrit Jacob is on the rise, cementing himself as one of the industry’s most exciting talents. The Berlin-based designer has made a name for himself through airbrushed streetwear with an animalistic mentality, having presented his Fall/Winter 2023 collection packed with otherworldly bold motifs.

For Spring/Summer 2024, Jacob continues to explore his recognizable spray-painted design style through a more wearable lens. The designer intends to make his brand more commercial with toned-down silhouettes that contrast previous offerings.

Jacob’s new collection is inspired by childhood carnival memories, reflected across vibrant hues and Hollywood-inspired prints. The latter is considered through jarred lips, shining stars, and palm tree silhouettes stained on oversized leather uniforms. Fantastical animal illustrations overwhelm cropped jackets and double-layered trousers, while T-shirt dresses receive asymmetrical V-neck collars matched with ultra-chunky workwear boots. Finally, two-toned tees and bottoms accompany printed crop tops and skin-tight mesh garments, completing the collection excitedly.
