Practicing various forms of expression as a self-taught artist, Taka Hayashi has associated with Vans on previous occasions. He has recently been sought out for another collection of footwear and t-shirts with Vans. His designs can be seen on some of Vans’ signature skate models such as the No Skool 2 Mid, Owens Hi and Rowley “Shambles” Mid. Not slated to release until Fall of 2008.

As part of the Taka Hayashi x Vans Pack, a series of t-shirts are set to release to compliment the wide array of sneakers available in the pack. Four different t-shirts are available such as the Sixty-Six, Sk8 Til Death, Eagle Talon and Gangstar Bunny tee. Within the last few years, artist Taka Hayashi has had a influence on Vans contributing to projects such as the Syndicate series and Simpsons series.
